Love’s long shadow What will I do now? How can I live without? I’ll never love again Until I reach the end We’ll be together Together again She holds his hand Says “You’re my best friend” But when she can’t pretend She starts to grow again The dead are alive in us Here in our Universe And we’ll be together Together again.

Shihad. FVEY. Warner/Roadrunner Records. Remember back nearly a decade ago Shihad came back from its brief name-change (as, mumble-mumble “Pacifier” – the mind still boggles) with Love Is The New Hate, the first promise of a return to the leclockcourterstanwilmselibedeparthe.xyzinfo never quite had the magic, the “heavy” felt sprayed on, just as easily wiped off with a quick wash – but now, with their tenth album.

Aug 15,  · FVEY (pronounced 'Five Eyes') is Shihad's ninth studio album and their second collaboration with Jaz Coleman (of Killing Joke) who also produced their debut, CHURN. FVEY is a beautifully raging and rumbling album laden with plenty of groove, perfectly highlighted in first single Think You're So Free.

Overall, FVEY is probably the darkest, heaviest album Shihad have produced, even more so than Love is the New Hate. But whereas that album managed to be memorable by taking some established traits and dialling them up big-time, it was still quintessentially Shihad - tracks like Alive, All the Young Fascists and Big Future still had those great, soaring choruses which almost worked even better when contrasted with the pummelling verse .
