This is a song about that i'm sure. Introducing Palace Players i'm guessing is a term used to describe a stadium band that is looking for new beginnings, a new band, but same name. As you will notice the album starts off with a song called New Terrain and shifts .

Eggs Are Funny is solid, and would serve as a neat introduction to the band. But given the size of their discography at the time, one would wonder if the listeners money would be better spent on copies of Frengers and Kites (and moving onto No More Stories afterwards). They're less consistent than this compilation for sure, but worth the money.
